Shorts is a leading manufacturer of complete lift solutions, lift components for modernisation and lift spare parts for repair for over 70 years. Their lifts are the most trusted and installed lifts in the UK, with big brands such as MacDonald’s, JD Sports, Nando’s & Five Guys installing their lifts. We are proud to have Shorts commission Websquare for a highly customised WordPress / E-commerce site to work in the way that required customers to register to buy lift products.
The website was designed to encompass a high range of lift components, spares, and complete lifts, and they requested the functionality within the site to filter products to be more helpful to their customers.
This client presented a unique set of challenges, which we as an agency needed to overcome, both from a design and development perspective. Namely, a massive range of products (20,000+), a highly complex component search feature, a customer sign-in, registration and payment process. We built them a website using a highly customised WordPress Content Management System (CMS).
We have been working with Shorts since 2013 and have a very strong relationship with them. They have commissioned us for additional development work, including mobile compatibility, alongside new features and functionality changes.
